Why I Reach for TypeScript by Default

TypeScript has been my default for a while now. Here are the biggest reasons.

Catch errors earlier

Type checking catches a whole class of bugs before they reach the browser.

Better refactoring

When a shared interface changes, the compiler tells you everywhere you

need to update.

Self-documenting code

Types describe intent, so reading code becomes easier for the next person

(or future me).
